Becoming a Even Bigger Brother.

I have changed my role since Ann has joined us. I am still very helpful around the house,  but i have become more of an enforcer and protector.  Mostly that means I get to be in charge of Keaton. I make sure he’s doing what hes supposed to and not hurting Ann- sometimes I am a little over protective (like when Keaton is just trying to give a kiss). I help feed Keaton and am getting better at playing with him. I was very excited to meet Ann when we got to their room at the hospital I ran straight to Mom and Ann and I was ready to see who she was. She is till very small so I make sure Ann is where she needs to be- in the bouncer, with Mom or on the floor for a diaper change. I’m good at getting things that she needs and am willing to hold her for a few seconds at a time.  I am very good at being the oldest and think I am doing a great job! Today I held her for a long time so we could have pictures together.

I am trying to be more like Dad. My RC car driving skills have improved since last summer but I still have to run and get it.  I can sometimes make the helicopter take off but then it just falls. Sometimes I am brave and let Dad land it or take off from my hand.

I’m also working on potty training some days go better than others but overall its an improvement from changing 3 children’s diapers all day. Hopefully it wont be too much longer before I don’t need any reminders.

Fire Station

For preschool our class was able to take a trip to the fire station. They let us climb up into the ambulance. We got to see it move up and down and the lights flashing. Continue reading

Halloween!

This year mom made me a Tow Mater costume. At first i liked it before it was decorated- probably because i was able to hold it myself. Then mom decorated it and put strings on it so i wouldn’t have to hold it but it made it less fun to wear luckily it stayed on during the trunk or treat and i went around and sometimes took candy. Lots of people thought I was such an adorable Tow Mater.  I had fun and maybe i will still play with my costume!

Im 3!

I'm 3This summer I had my birthday and mom is just getting around to letting you know I am older. I had fun opening my presents this year. I got a lot of cars and toys. Mom tried making me a lightning McQueen cake but it didn’t quite work so instead I got a baseball and football cake. A couple of cousins and my friends in the neighborhood came over for cake and ice cream.

3 Friends

Now that I have been 3 for a few months I have learned a little more about what it means to be a big brother.  Keaton likes to play with me which is nice but hes not allowed to touch some things like the race track.  We both like to watch movies on the ipod which we aren’t supposed to touch. I make sure Keaton doesn’t touch it at all but i still think I can do what I want because I’m older.  So basically Mom and Dad know even more how much I know the rules but that I just tend to ignore them sometimes. Keaton also likes to be on his feet so I help him walk around with Mom or Dad’s help but I go a little fast fortunately Keaton still thinks its entertaining.  Overall though I am becoming more responsible and helpful around the house.

2 Weeks without Nusury

Today was my first week back to nursery after being sick and going to general conference. Dad had to stick around a while longer to make sure I was ok, but eventually I put my feet up on the table and relaxed.

I haven’t gotten to go outside much either. I’m anxious to start going to the park again.

Throwing up like a Big Boy

Although I like to see what other people are doing on the toilet I’m still not doing what they do. I did, however, throw up in the toilet like a big boy this weekend. My parents were so proud of me. And happy they didn’t have to clean up the carpet…again. Well hopefully soon everything nasty will be going into the toilet as I become a big boy.

Nap time with Brother

naptime with brotherI got to see Keaton for the first time last night after spending the day with my cousins. Ali was real nice to me. I’ve gotten to spend almost the whole day with Keaton today although he’s been busy getting lots of checkups so we can go home today.

Maybe this weekend he can ride in the wagon with me, and dad can pull us in the truck. Continue reading

Offroading in the Wagon

Offroad Wagon SummitDad got a new truck a few weeks ago that is even bigger than the truck that used to pull my wagon. It’s not all that different when we hook it up other than now the wagon can go offroading. I used to not like all the bumps, but now it’s a lot of fun.

We decided the old truck is still fun for on road driving. It probably still goes the fastest.
